Nick Haigh
Nick has lived in Mirfield since 1972 and qualified as a solicitor in 1994.
He therefore combines a good local knowledge with over 20 years’ experience as a qualified solicitor to provide a first rate service to all his clients.
Having previously worked for a national law firm in Leeds, Nick specialises in commercial conveyancing, landlord and tenant matters and residential conveyancing. His experience ranges from
the sale of commercial premises including hotels and warehouses to the purchase of retail units, warehouses and other industrial units. Residential conveyancing
transactions include sales, purchases and re-mortgages of houses both locally and nationally.
Nick is married to Jane and has two sons, Tom and Finn. In his free time he tries to play golf and supports local cricket.
Following in the family tradition, he also watches Huddersfield Town with his son, Tom, whenever possible.
Sally Kerrison
Sally qualified as a solicitor in 2003 and joined Haighs Solicitors in 2014. Having previously acted as a criminal defence solicitor
before changing her specialism to conveyancing.
Sally enjoys problem solving, a skill that often comes in handy when dealing with property transactions, and ensuring that she achieves a positive outcome for every client.
Sally takes great pride in her work and in her ability to overcome the types of issues and difficulties that can arise in a transfer of property, she excels in ensuring that
the processes are made as easy as possible for her clients and that they understand what is happening at every stage of a conveyancing transaction.
Sally grew up in Mirfield and lives locally with her husband Andrew, their two young sons and daughter. The family are Huddersfield Giants fans and enjoy attending the games.
Sally, has recently returned to Haighs Solicitors following maternity leave. Both Sally and daughter, Matilda, are well and Sally
is looking forward to developing her relationships with clients both old and new.
